Very good for your first song.

Nice use of pads and choirs. The beat got drowned by the other sounds though =/

Could have made it longer as well, but otherwise, it's pretty good for your first song.

Check out my latest song, "Winter Without Her" if you have time please :3

Thanks a lot for the Review

Speechless O:

Beautiful track, very melodic and well-composed. Love the instruments and effects you used. I don't really see anything wrong, it's really good ^ ^ Great dance track.

Thanks for checking out my WIP by the way. Full version's already out :3

F-777 responds:

Thanks for the review.

Beautiful.

'nuff said? Not quite. It's a great cover, but did you just grab a midi and replaced the tracks with good synths or did you actually rewrite the whole song again?

While I don't doubt that you have skills, knowing that you did the latter thing would be reassuring, considering you can't really take all the credit for grabbing someone elses' midi and touching it up without giving proper credit (which I have yet to see)

Either way, kudos to you. Great cover.

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Thanks man. Yeah, I did grab a midi of this, I'm not certain who's. It was horribly done, and I ended up rewriting 95% of it, using MY guitar as a guide. The drums are 100% mine. As there was no percussion in the original midi. The "vocal" line was the only one that stayed more than 50% original midi. Even it needed a fairly sizable overhaul.
It would have been easier for me to do the thing from scratch, hindsight being 20/20. Had I left more of the original midi in there, I would have given more credit to the midi maker. But they sucked.
I don't like doing that with midis either...I've been a strong advocate against it. I see so many people doing that, making the songs sound like total shit. I did it, to prove with some actual "music" knowledge, you can make a midi sound better than whatever else you will find on this site.(as far as midi plagiarism goes). haha. More people do it, than you think. So to everyone else...if you ARE going to use a midi and just replace the instruments. Do it so it sounds better than or different (but still good) from the original version.

Anyways, thanks for the cool review.\m/

Heh...

Good ol' FL Slayer being used again...

I wrote a small post about it on my profile sometime ago, might wanna read it. The song's too short and there's no build up, you should practice and experiment more with FL. Decent start though, keep practicing.

Stickfire responds:

Thanks. I'll take a look at that post.

Interesting.

I can picture this being used in a scene with a crazy scientist or something. I don't really like how it sounds since it's not exactly my type of music, but it's well-composed, kudos.

Bandwith responds:

Thanks, I understand what you mean.
I am as apposed to rap as an atheist is to Jesus, but some rap has a good beat and is mixed pretty well.
Kinda like that I guess.

Beautiful.

Fits the title really well. Excellent drums and piano. The piano's volume could have been a bit higher, but it's fine as it is. Great choice of instruments as well.

Also, the strings sounded glitchy at 0:35 and 0:39. And is it just me, or are there voices around 1:20? O_o;

Keep it up, 5'd ;D

Check out my latest song if you have time :3

brumy929 responds:

Thank you ^_^. the strings may just be something in the upload, on my computer, the origional file sounds alrite there. and yeah there are some haunting whisperings at 1:20, glad you caught that :).

Beautiful piece :D

Love the composition. Only thing that bugs me is the strings/air selection. Keep it up, maybe we could do a collab sometime ;D

Thanks for reviewing my track by the way.

Gian responds:

Thank you Jhonny :) Well I actually like the strings.. they give a more dramatic emphasis when it needs to be dramatic :P Kep doing good songs, I like your stuff too :P

Not bad but...

...Where the hell's the climax? Throughout the whole song, I had been expecting the song to progress and build up, yet, nothing happened. Nice effects you used, but other than that, it's too repetitive and stressing (since, as mentioned before, the song never develops >_<). Eh...try adding a climax next time.

bearwasdead responds:

there's a climax, but the other sound effects drowned it out. i'll work on it some more and resubmit a new ver. Thanks for the review!

Very good.

Love the arrangement you threw in this song. I could picture this with vocals on the radio. Keep it up, love the piano.

jcorishas responds:

Thanks. I've been toying around with putting some vocals for the final version (an acapella or something) but nothing really goes with it. If anyone wants to put vocals over it they can and I'd love to hear it.

Fourth song...

...and still loving it. Your whole gallery shows that you're a versatile guitarist, playing different styles with much skill. Thumbs up sir, you're excellent.

By the way, I would /really/ appreciate if you could PM me explaining what you use to record everything, the quality in your songs is very clean.

Sentinel94 responds:

Thanks for listening
