I can't help but think that courtesy in NG is almost non-existent. Hey, some people have commented back on my songs, I'm grateful for that. But then there's people who don't bother replying or checking out your stuff (I'm guilty of that, denying it would make me a hypocrit). I've been changing such a bad habit and commenting people back on their work when I can though. Being an artist is about giving and receiving: You check out their stuff, crit, and then they do the same thing for you.

So y'know, whenever someone takes their time to comment on your songs, return them the favor. It's always nice to see people responding back. It doesn't hurt anyone, and it's common courtesy ;D

This time, I was inspired by DJ Takko ^ ^

I don't really consider myself a good artist, I just know the basics really. I had lots of fun doing this track though, and best of all, it's 100% original. No loops, no nothing; it's much more satisfying that way. However, I rushed through the ending, a bad habit I have cause I get impacient/desperate to submit it. I was gonna submit it as a WIP, but I'll just leave it as it is :P

Every now and then, I get the urge to make some metal. Since I don't have anything to hook up my guitar to the pc, I gotta use programs. FL 6's Slayer happens to be decent, but doesn't cut it. Anybody know any GOOD realistic guitar generators?

I made a quick track (4 hour job, I know, I'm slow -_-;) to experient with Slayer. Palm-muted effects are incredibly simple, but that's about it. The rest doesn't sound very good, but maybe I just suck at it XD Blah.

The piano melody is based on the outro solo from Pantera's "Floods". I think the song turned out great. A bit repetitive indeed, but I couldn't resist uploading it like that. Please check it out ^ ^
